It cannot be carried out on animals that are najis, which cannot be rendered tahir, such as dog and pig. * What about the second category of animals, whose meat cannot be eaten, such as fox, lion, and eagle?
Im not a scholar. But i heard from them that cat is considered clean in most of the situations (which is an exception for animals). You should treat the cat like a cat and not a son/daughter etc. People keep pets instead of having babies etc which is not okay. Do not let having cats stop you from doing your other requirements.
